To promote and strengthen rule of law in South Asia through the means of legal research, education, training and networking.

Our Objectives

(a) Facilitate establishing the rights of the poor and marginalized groups in relation to land, natural resources, health, education, identity, tenancy and other public services

(b) Support legal empowerment organizations through capacity building and networking

(c) Establish Paralegalism and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanism within the justice system

(d) Promote and support quality post-graduate multi-disciplinary education and research, particularly focusing on legal empowerment

(e) Advocate with policy makers and media to promote reforms in key justice issues
